Here’s everything you need to know about visiting Flour Child

Location: We’re situated on Acland Street in St Kilda, VIC 3182. You’ll find us at Level 1, 77 Acland St.

Getting here: By car: You have various parking options to choose from:

  • Chaucer Street: Offers four-hour free parking options and runs parallel behind Acland Street. Street parking is also available from Monday to Friday.
  • Belford Street: Very close by with some free parking options.
  • Shakespeare Grove: Provides two-hour free parking until 6 pm, then it’s paid parking. Conveniently located right across the road from Flour Child.

By train: Take the Sandringham line to Balaclava Station. From there, it’s just a short 15-minute walk to Acland Street, or you can catch a tram.

By tram: Several tram lines can take you to Acland Street in St Kilda. The most popular ones are Route 96 or 16. Plan your journey at yarratrams.com.au.

Once you arrive on Acland Street, find us above Sister of Soul, with our entrance right next to 7 Apples Gelato Shop. We can’t wait to see you!

Monday: 3pm till approx. 12am

Tuesday: 3pm till approx. 12am

Wednesday: 3pm till approx. 12am

Thursday: 3pm till approx. 12:30am

Friday: 11:30am till approx. 3am

Saturday: 11:30am till approx. 3am

Sunday: 11:30am till approx. 1am

Keep in mind, our kitchen remains open all night, with a slightly reduced menu after 10 pm. Come and enjoy great food and a fantastic time!

Feel free to bring a celebration cake for your booking/event, but make sure to label it clearly with the booking name and any storage instructions.

Please note, there’s a cakeage fee of $8 per person. This covers the storage, handling, cutting, plating, and serving of your cake to your guests. Let’s make your celebration even sweeter!

We play progressive house, pop or funk music. You can expect DJs every weekend or music pumping through our sound system to keep the good vibes going. Later on in the night on weekends, a dance floor opens up.

Join us at Flour Child! To ensure a delightful experience for all, we invite guests who are 18 and older to make bookings.
In harmony with Victoria’s laws, including liquor licensing laws, we ensure a responsible and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Guests under 18 are welcome to visit our premises when accompanied by a responsible adult, like a parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent, or an 18+ spouse.
While we celebrate the presence of all our guests, we serve alcoholic beverages exclusively to those over the legal age of 18, contributing to a safe and pleasurable dining experience for all.
Any patrons under the age of 18 must be easily identifiable by all our staff. To this end the underage patrons will be requested to wear a wrist band at all times whilst in the venue.

There are no circumstances where underage patrons can consume alcohol on the licensed premises. Police Statutory Fines of up to $20,000 may apply.

Flour child is a fully licensed venue and cannot allow any BYO food or beverages, with the exception of one celebration cake.

Yes, we cater to most dietary requirements. We do offer gluten free pizza bases along with other alternatives on our menu. If you have a particular dietary requirement that you need catered for please do not hesitate to check with us.

We have order at table capabilities which allows our patrons to scan a QR code and order and pay for their own meals and beverages.

We can hold your table for up to 15 minutes after the booking time. If you’re running late, please inform our team by calling 8766 0777 or editing your booking through your confirmation email. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but the duration we can hold the table depends on later reservations for that space. To avoid any disappointment, please give us as much notice as possible. We look forward to having you!

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly request smart-casual attire while in our venue. For gentlemen, collared shirts are preferred. Please maintain cleanliness, neatness, and tidiness during your visit.

On weekends, it’s especially important to adhere to our dress code, as management reserves the right to refuse entry to those not following the guidelines.

The following dress is considered unacceptable:

  • Active or sporting attire of any kind or brand
  • Ripped, torn, or soiled clothing
  • T-shirts with offensive designs or words
  • Camouflage clothing
  • Beachwear, including singlets or tank tops
  • Manual work clothing or boots (including all steel cap boots)
  • Unclean, untidy, or torn footwear
  • Ugg boots or rubber gum boots

Absolutely, they do! Flour Child gift vouchers are like a golden ticket to a delicious feast. Starting from $50 and going all the way up to $1000, they’re perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or a “just because” treat.

We do not offer takeaway, you can however speak to our team at the venue to organise a pizza for pick up by giving us a buzz on 8766 0777.

To book our Bottomless Brunch session, follow these easy steps:

  1. Choose the date (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) for your brunch.
  2. Select your preferred seating area and the number of people in your group.
  3. Pick your ideal brunch time from the available slots (11:30am, 1:30pm, or 4pm).
  4. Next, you’ll see the menu options. Choose ‘Bottomless Brunch’ and follow the prompts to complete your booking.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to call our team at 8766 0777. For last-minute weekend bookings, we might be fully booked, but it’s worth giving us a buzz to check for any last-minute availability.

Our Bottomless Brunch sessions do tend to book out in advance! We always recommend booking a month in advance to ensure you don’t miss out. For last minute availability, or if you cannot see the option to book for a Bottomless Brunch, please give our team a call on 8766 0777.

We do require prepayment for our Bottomless Brunch bookings to secure your spot with us.

Absolutely! During our Bottomless Brunch session, we offer a delicious selection of vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free pizzas. 

We’re happy to accommodate almost every dietary requirement. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to talk to our friendly staff when you arrive.

For those who don’t drink alcohol, we have soft drinks, juices and mocktails available on request! Simply let our staff know on the day of your booking. Please note we do require everyone at the table attending to be on the same Bottomless Brunch package.

To enjoy the spirits upgrade, everyone in the group needs to participate, as the spirits are served in shared jugs, just like our cocktails.

To confirm your reservation with us for groups of 12 or more, we require a $20 deposit. This deposit secures your booking and will be deducted from the total bill when you dine with us. Please note that the prepaid deposit can only be redeemed through table service by our staff and cannot be used with the QR code payment method.

A la carte bookings:

  • For groups under 12: No money will be charged to your credit card during booking or at the time of reservation; it’s just a pre-authorisation.
  • For groups over 12: A non-refundable $20 per person deposit is required.

 

Promotional or Pre-paid bookings:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for promotional offers such as Bottomless Brunch.
  • Please note a 2% processing fee for all credit card payments.

 

Cancellations and no-shows:

  • If you cancel or don’t show up within 48 hours of your booking, a $20 penalty per person will be charged to the card used for booking.
  • Unfortunately, refunds won’t be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or reductions in numbers.
  • A voucher may be issues for prepaid offers if guests are unable to attend for special circumstances, with a maximum validity of three months.

 

Reserved tables:

  • We’ll hold reserved tables for 15 minutes past the original booking time.
  • If you don’t claim the table within this period, it may be given to another group.
